IMMULITE 2000
|
The IMMULITE 2000 Automated Immunoassay Analyzer is a continuous-random-access
instrument that performs chemiluminescent immunoassays. The system uses serum,
plasma, and/or urine samples for in vitro diagnostic testing. IMMULITE 2000 uses specific antibody coated beads. In a specially designed reaction tube the beads and the sample are incubated with an alkaline-phophatase labeled reagent. The samples are then washed and processed. |

The label bound to the beads is quantified using a light emitting substrate. The amount of light emitted is proportional to the amount of analyte originally present in the sample. The results are calculated for each sample.
