Sysmex CA-1500 is a fully automated blood coagulation analyzer which
is used for the analysis and calculation of the following parameters:
Prothrombin Time (PT)
Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time ( aPTT)
Thrombin Time ( TT )
Fibrinogen
Analysis principle:
Coagulation Reaction Detection Method
Red light ( 660nm) is irradiated onto a mixture of blood plasma
and reagent. A change in the turbidity (formation of a fibrin clot )
is detected as a change in scattered light and the time is measured and recorded.
Required Sample volume:
50 μl of ( cytrated blood ) plasma.
